Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
The Diocese asks all churches to provide a link to their Safeguarding Page for anyone having concerns.or wanting to read the safeguarding policies and procedures. All the churches in this Benefice are committed to following government and Church of England guidelines on safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and good working practice, including safer recruitment of volunteers and paid workers. APPOINTMENT OF THE REVEREND KRIS SEWARD
AS RECTOR OF THE WYMERSLEY BENEFICE
I am delighted to announce that following interview and with the agreement of Bishop John, the Patrons and the Parish Representatives, Revd Kris Seward, currently Curate of Crick & Yelvertoft w Clay Coton & Lilbourne, has been offered and has accepted the invitation to become Rector of the Wymersley Benefice.
The appointment of Kris is subject to the normal Church of England legal and administrative procedures, and the date for the Institution and Induction will be announced shortly.
Bishop John and I are very grateful to all who helped with the preparation of the profile, all the arrangements for the interview and for the continuing and encouraging ministry of the parishes
in the service of Jesus Christ during the vacancy.
Please pray for Kris and Karen as they prepare to move into Cogenhoe Rectory and as Kris completes his current ministry and prepares to minister in the parishes of Cogenhoe, Great Houghton, Little Houghton and Brafield on the Green.
